Day 1: Colombo → Sigiriya
I’ll meet you at the airport or in Colombo and we’ll head to Sigiriya. On the way, we’ll visit the stunning Dambulla Cave Temple. After checking into your hotel, we’ll enjoy an authentic village experience with a bullock cart ride, a peaceful canoe trip, and a traditional Sri Lankan lunch. Overnight in Sigiriya.

Day 2: Sigiriya & Safari
We start the day early with a climb up the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress. After some time to relax back at the hotel, we head out in the afternoon for a thrilling safari at Minneriya National Park to see wild elephants. In the evening, you can join a Sri Lankan cooking class if you’d like. Overnight in Sigiriya.

Day 3: Sigiriya → Matale → Kandy
After breakfast, we drive toward Kandy, stopping at a spice garden in Matale to learn about local herbs and spices. In Kandy, we’ll visit the Royal Botanical Gardens, the sacred Temple of the Tooth, and finish the day with a traditional Kandyan Cultural Dance show. Overnight in Kandy.

Day 4: Kandy → Nuwara Eliya
We head into the hills of tea country. You’ll tour a working tea plantation and factory, then continue to Nuwara Eliya where you can stroll through Victoria Park and enjoy some time by Gregory Lake. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 5: Nuwara Eliya → Ella
Today you have the option to take the scenic train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella, or we can drive there directly. In Ella, we’ll hike Little Adam’s Peak, visit the Nine Arches Bridge, relax at the Ravana Pool Club, and stop by Ravana Falls. Overnight in Ella.

Day 6: Ella → Mirissa
We make our way down from the hills to the beach town of Mirissa. You’ll have the rest of the day to relax on the beach, surf, or enjoy the sunset at Coconut Tree Hill. Whale watching is also available if you’re visiting between November and April. Overnight in Mirissa.

Day 7: Mirissa → Galle → Colombo
After breakfast, we head to Galle to explore the colonial-era Galle Fort with its lighthouse, old buildings, and cozy cafés. From there, we return to Colombo. If time allows, we’ll do a quick city tour before I drop you at your hotel or the airport for departure.
